Q/A: Gary Russell
We're asking, they're answering.
What's your desert island Doctor Who story?
Robots Of Death - Baker is by no means my fav Doctor, but Robots is pretty perfect - the story to show no-fans so they can see how good it can be.
Who's the best actor never to have played the Doctor?
Blow-Job, Marry, Kill - Matthew Waterhouse, Terrance Dicks, Ron Grainer
BJ Matt, marry Terry, so bye bye Ron.
Who's the most famous Doctor Who related person you've got in your phone contacts?
Hmmm.... tricky cos it'd be boasting to say Eccleston's the only one I don't have (oh and Tom) but it'd be true. But none are under their real names or silly alternatives either.
Do you have all your Doctor Who DVDs in transmission order on your shelf?
Yes of course I do!! Daft question. Virgo!
Which single episode would you like to be recovered?
The Macra Terror episode 4 or The Tenth Planet 4.
Which is your favourite regeneration scene?
Tremas into Ainley Master. A new body at last.
On a scale of nought to ten, how much do like Katy Manning's DVD commentary contributions?
10 - she's fab. There's no one on a commentary who makes me cringe.
Name a Doctor Who story you've never seen.
What evidence is there in your home that you like Doctor Who?
Every room has something DW related within it. I am tragic.
What percentage of your friends would know what "the Cartmel Masterplan" or "UNIT dating" means?
Give us a hint of the most scandalous behind the scenes Doctor Who gossip you know.
I don't do gossip But if I did, I would probably be far richer than I am now, because I'm terribly good at blackmail...
