Biggs Darklighter Joins Who In Spain
Star Wars actor joins Toby Whithouse's episode.
Garrick Hagon has reportedly joined the Who crew in Spain for Toby Whithouse's Wild West-themed episode.
The actor is best known for his role as Biggs Darklighter in Star Wars: A New Hope. As Luke Skywalker's best friend from Tatooine, Biggs had a much larger role in the movie's first cut, but remains a well-known character for hardcore fans.
Genshiken Spain, organisers of the FreakCon convention, wrote on Twitter, "Garrick Hagon, our guest at FreakCon, is currently shooting in Almeria, filming a series of Doctor Who."
Guest actor, Rob Cavazos, later Tweeted, "I am currently working with an actor who was in the first Star Wars film. I am by no means a fanboy, but that's still pretty awesome!"
The London born, but Canadian-raised, Hagon originally appeared in Doctor Who 40 years ago in The Mutants.
